ABOUT ELIZABETH ELY...

Following frequent relocations for work as a research scientist, I finally settled with my family in the beautiful South Cotswold countryside in 2014. During renovations of our former farmhouse, the garden became increasingly neglected and needed renovating itself.

We wanted to create a beautiful family garden that was also a haven for wildlife, and I wanted to design it myself. While attending a one-day garden design course, I realised then that I had found my true vocation. Two years later I attained a distinction in a diploma in Professional Garden Design from the nearby Cotswold Gardening School.

I love every aspect of garden design: from the initial close work with clients to the moments when the design begins to come together and to the creation of exciting new plant combinations. I love seeing the final designs being turned into real gardens.

It is a privilege to have found a career helping people to realise or exceed their dreams for one of the most important parts of their home. My previous career has given me a keen attention to detail and an ability to understand and solve complex problems. These are both essential skills when matching your unique needs, hopes and dreams for your future garden with your existing outdoor space.
